1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name, email address, date of birth, gender, and profile picture. Date of birth is used for birthday gifts and to determine eligibility for age-restricted features; gender is used for aggregate customer demographics shown to shop owners.

Business information. If you create a business profile, we collect your business name, address, contact phone number, logo, cover photo, and details about your branches, staff, and loyalty settings.

Activity and transaction data. We collect stamps collected, points and coins earned or spent, rewards and gifts claimed, shops visited, transactions recorded at participating shops, referrals, votes and nominations, and notes shop owners write about their customers.

Payment information. If you choose to receive a cash prize, we store the GCash receive QR code you provide so that we can pay you. We do not collect card numbers or bank credentials.

Photos. We store images you upload, including profile pictures, shop logos, cover photos, and reward images.

Device and diagnostic information. We collect device identifiers and push notification tokens so we can deliver notifications, along with crash reports and performance diagnostics that help us find and fix problems.

We do not collect your location, contacts, calendar, messages, or browsing history.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve the Rewardeey app, personalize your rewards experience, display your ranking on leaderboards, deliver notifications about your rewards and stamps, pay cash prizes to winners, provide shop owners with aggregate analytics about their customers, and diagnose technical problems.

3. Leaderboard Visibility

Your name and points may appear on public leaderboards visible to other users and store staff. You can opt out of this in your Privacy Settings under Edit Profile at any time.

4. Cash Prizes

Each month, top-ranked customers may receive a cash prize funded by participating shops. Entry is free and ranking is based on verified spending at participating shops, not on chance. Users under 18 are not eligible for cash prizes. If you win, we use the GCash details you provide solely to send your prize.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share limited data with participating shops so they can validate stamps and rewards, and so they can see aggregate analytics about their customers.

We use service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, including our database and storage provider, our crash reporting provider, and our push notification provider. They may only use the data to provide services to us.

We may disclose information where required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our systems immediately, and residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days. We may retain records where required by law.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can view and update your profile at any time in the app.

You can delete your account and all associated data from Profile › Edit Profile › Delete Account, or by following the steps at rewardeey.com/delete-account.

You can opt out of leaderboard visibility in your Privacy Settings.

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you also have the right to access, correct, and object to the processing of your personal data. Contact us at privacy@rewardeey.com to exercise these rights.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. All data is encrypted in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Minors

In accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and Philippine law, where the age of majority is 18, we require parental or guardian consent for users below 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without such consent. If we become aware that a minor’s data has been collected without proper consent, we will promptly delete that information. Users under 18 are not eligible for cash prizes.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
